Members of the B Sharp Music Academy will be presenting a programme comprising of arias, duets, and small ensembles from two composers whose influence on Western music has been profound.
The artists will look at Mozart and Verdi, two beloved composers in the world and within the South African choral and opera music space, to showcase the talent they have been entrusted with while appreciating the affection for their favourite composers. These composers took the time and expertise to set music to some of the most wonderful librettos the world has seen & our local talent will revive the music for our palate.
It is worth noting that October is also Verdi’s birth month and there is no better way than to have musicians gather in song to honour and celebrate this icon
The performance will be accompanied by John Manamela who does not need an introduction within the choral music space.
