Contemporary & Ballet Awards (CBA) to Showcase Emerging Dance Talent
The much-anticipated Contemporary & Ballet Awards (CBA) are set to take the stage from October 12th to 15th, 2023. This prestigious competition serves as a prominent platform for burgeoning young dancers to compete against the nation’s best talent while showcasing their skills to a panel of national and international judges.
The CBA is proud to be the first competition of its kind in the country to feature a commissioned piece in the finals, setting a new benchmark for dance competitions nationwide. As part of the comprehensive program, competitors will also have the opportunity to participate in a workshop led by our esteemed judges – an unparalleled opportunity for aspiring dancers.
The competition spans several genres, ensuring a captivating and diverse viewing experience for our audience. From contemporary to classical ballet, the variety ensures there is something for everyone.
The grand finale, a Gala event, is set to be a spectacular production. The best dancers will perform both the commissioned piece and their winning solos, creating a mesmerising spectacle of talent, passion, and creativity. This event promises to be a showstopper, captivating not only competitors but also dance lovers nationwide.
