Drama Buzz is thrilled to announce its 15th Annual Musical Production, “Anastasia (Youth Edition)” which will be performed at the Roodepoort Theatre from Thursday, August 15 to Saturday, August 17.
This must-see spectacular Musical production is a 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway hit. It follows the story of Anya, a young woman who may be the lost Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov.
This dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family. The musical explores themes of identity, love, and resilience amidst historical events.
