Whether it’s milkshakes and burgers for the kiddies, a great cup of coffee and a decadent dessert or a fine dining experience, STAGES, the theatre restaurant at Roodepoort Theatre fits the bill. Sit outside on the shaded patio and enjoy fresh and innovative al fresco meals, or come inside and enjoy the contemporary and relaxed decor while. The stylish bar area is the ideal place to meet friends and enjoy some time-off.

Our banqueting and events department remains open, managing functions & events @ Joburg Theatre, Joburg Zoo & Metro Center, and inclusive of any outdoor events required by the city.

Times will be adjusted to accommodate all shows or activations. With regards to the operating times on Mon & Sun, should there be any shows in the theatre, STAGES RT – will open 3 hours prior to the start of the show / activation, and close an hour after the show performance comes out.

Please note that all beverages, both alcoholic & non-alcohol will be available during these operating times as per our liquor license. .

Our varied menu will suit every taste, from simple to complex and light meals to meaty main courses.
